Youth Programming Developer/Co-ordinator
Part Time (12 hours/week) - September to February
This lay staff member shall have responsibility for the development and general oversight of our youth programmes.
Youth Programme – Grade 6 to Grade 12
Develop and administer a Youth programme each week to help our youth experience and explore their Spiritual gifts in a way that glorifies God.
Setup the schedule for the youth programme with the support of the Lead Minister.
Co-ordinate with and train volunteers as needed to help administer the programme.
Organize fundraising events for our Youth programming as time and opportunity present.
Work with the Children’s Programming Developer to organize and co-ordinate the Christmas Pageant.
When the Halton School Board designates PA Days, provide assistance to the Children’s Programme Developer (with the support of the Lead Minister).
Assist the Lead Minister in the confirmation process for youth who wish to explore questions of faith, belief and belonging. The process must meet the ongoing and ever-changing needs of today’s youth.
Additional Responsibilities
Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings.
Provide support at intergenerational worship services as needed.
Successful candidate will require a Halton Regional Police Service Records Check
This job is made possible by a grant from Canada Summer Jobs. St. Paul’s has been approved to hire a young adult, age 18-30, to work 12 hours a week for 23 weeks.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
